AviClear is a laser acne treatment developed by CUTERA®. The innovative laser treats acne at its source by targeting and suppressing the sebaceous gland. Three sessions are highly recommended to adequately debulk the sebaceous glands. This gland secretes the oily sebum that combines with dead skin cells, clogging pores and causing breakouts. And because AviClear was designed with patient comfort in mind, the device features proprietary contact cooling (AviCool™) to help maintain the skin’s temperature during treatment.
AviClear is not recommend for as an acne spot treatment, as this technique can lead to worsening acne in other areas of the face/treated area.
